Would this work for a make up table?

This is exactly what I bought it for my wife to use for. I personally thought it was very cheaply made. What they don't tell you until you actually open the box is that the top shelf has a maximum capacity of 10lbs, the middle shelf (tabletop surface) has a capacity of 30lbs, and the bottom has a capacity of 10lbs also. My wife likes the look, but it is not very sturdy, and probably won't last very long. All the pieces are particle board and a very cheap form of MDF board. A lot of movement will absolutely loosen the screws and make it very wobbly. If it's not something you tend to put through a lot of heavy use and are mindful of its construction, it should work for at least a while. I was a bit disappointed when it arrived, but after further thought, I realized you get what you pay for, and I'm not sure what more I could have expected for under $50.

Does it wobble once it's assembled? Is there a vinyl covering the wood or is the wood just painted?

Painted wood. If it's put together right it shouldn't wobble. Mine doesn't and it has a heavy Dell All in One on it, although it is better suited for a laptop.

Don’t buy!! Furinno desk is crap. Impossible to put it together. Missing pieces. I returned mine and got refunded.

Are the back pieces of this desk cardboard or the same sturdy particle board as the desk top?

If I remember correctly it was particle board or like paneling, but the whole thing is so flimsy, I would only use it for a child's toy. We returned it and didn't use it.

How high is it off the ground?

From the floor to the top of the desk top is 29 inches. From the floor to the underside of the desk top is 24 inches.

When does the price go back up? I need it to go back up after Christmas.

Why would you want the price to go UP? It's already overpriced at $50.

Does this come with a small tool set?

No, but super easy to put together with a screwdriver and small hammer or butter knife and coffee cup. Use whatcha got ;-)

No, the legs and bottom shelf are all the same wood material as the desk area, just a different finish.
