neverest Registers, Grilles & Vents 100mm Editorial Review
Neverest® RKI Backdraft Shutter 4 Inch Inline Extractor Fan Backdraft is designed to fit snugly inside a 150mm ducting, making it an effective solution against cold drafts in kitchens. Users praise its ability to seamlessly open at lower fan settings without significantly hindering airflow or adding noise. Particularly notable is how it addresses backdraft issues, ensuring comfortable temperatures, and the build quality outperforms plastic alternatives. Additionally, the rubber seal helps minimize annoying noises during high winds. However, some users have reported minor resistance issues with the flap due to spring pressure, which can lead to slightly steamier kitchens while cooking, indicating a balance between reduced flapping and airflow efficiency is sometimes necessary.
