Alice In Chains Format: Audio CD Rock Editorial Review
The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here delivers a powerful and nostalgic experience for Alice in Chains fans, showcasing their signature sound while featuring the impactful vocals of William Duvall alongside Jerry Cantrell's haunting lyrics and impressive guitar work. The album retains the band's signature essence, melding beautiful melodies with dissonant, crunchy undertones reminiscent of their classic releases. Fans of both old and new can appreciate the continuity in AIC's music, as noted in reviews highlighting the similarity to the band's earlier work. However, listeners might notice a stronger influence of Jerry Cantrell's solo style, which may lead to mixed feelings about Duvall's contributions throughout the album.
