These meals are shelf stable, self-heating and can be eaten anytime, anywhere. OMEALS menu offering includes options that offer no cholesterol, are lower in sodium and a good source of fiber among others. Pouches have roughly a three year life. The meal pouches are nearly weightless, flexible, waterproof, and fit into any sized backpack or reduced space. Each Homestyle Meal comes with everything you need — food pouch, heating element and utensils. Omeals have an ultramodern flameless heating procedure that uses Omeals 3-5 rule – add 3-to-5 ounces of ANY liquid and let it warm for 3-to-5 minutes. After time is up, open the bag and let the steam exit for a minute before removing food pouch. Then open the food pouch using easy open notch and enjoy!
