QBasic Programming for Dummies

**** "QBasic Programming for Dummies" presents a mixed bag for aspiring programmers. Many users have found the book to delve into details that are overly complex and not directly applicable to practical situations they encounter in their own projects. One reviewer expressed frustration with the lack of clarity regarding fundamental commands like LPRINT and WRITE USING, finding the explanations uninformative and relating to outdated technology that doesn't suit their setup. While some may appreciate the book as a starting point for understanding MS-DOS programming, others argue it is ill-suited for beginners. The progression of topics can feel overwhelming, with the author often prioritizing advanced concepts over foundational knowledge. Consequently, several readers have struggled to engage with the material, feeling lost before reaching essential functions like PRINT. This disconnect highlights a significant gulf between the book's intent and its practical utility for users of varying experience levels, ultimately leaving many feeling unsupported in their learning journey. **Pros and Cons:** **
